Global climate strikes will be organized throughout the world on September 20, three days before the UN Climate Action Summit 2019 in New York.

The event is a part of the ‘School Strike for Climate’ - an international movement of school students who take time off from class to participate in protests to demand action to prevent further global warming and climate change, which gained publicity after Swedish schoolgirl Greta Thunberg staged a protest in August 2018 outside the Swedish Parliament.

The event will be organized by the Climate Save Bosnia, Extinction Rebellion Bosnia and Herzegovina, and EVA, the Animal Rights Organization of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
